Move over! I'm driving!

We had to stop at a gas station to feed Quin on our roadtrip and he decided he was driving the rest of the way.

Quin's Got a New Friend

Happy Birthday to Jenny!

On our weekend visit to see the Hosch's, Michelle decided to leave a happy birthday message for Jenny on the door of their house (since they were not home!). Katie & Amy helped tag the Mathiesen house, and they didn't get arrested either (considering they did it at 10pm at night - that's pretty good!). By the next day the wind had destroyed most of it, so now Jenny can see how it looked pre-wind. Hey, it's the thought that counts!

This is kinda hard to see, so I apologize. I wanted to see if we could get it to work. Anyway, the other night Quin was hungry and I was teasing him by nibbling on his hands. Well, he decided that it might actually help his hunger.

Just like George Costanza!

Quin decided he wanted to play Human Frogger. Thanks Grandma Kathy for the super-cute Frog sweater & hat!

Finally!

Sorry for the delay - here they are, the last few steps of our fall shed project.
This is the shed with all it's walls on, it's roof on and it's doors sort-of on.
Finally, here it is! Complete and painted (except for the roof trim)! Michelle realized what it looks like. The colors she picked out make it look like my family's cabin. I like it!

The Shed is Complete!

Pictures to follow (I forgot to bring my memory card, sorry!). After Kyle & I threw the roof on in 2 hours (thanks, Kyle!), Michelle's Dad & brother Jason helped me finish up the last few bits of the shed the last couple weekends (thanks, Bruce & Jason!). And my Dad-In-Law helped Michelle stain the shed over about 2 days. Let me say this, if you decide to get an EZ Build Shed from Menards they are very nice, but don't let them tell you it takes 3 hours to assemble. What a load of crap! Anyway, I'll post pictures tomorrow. I just wanted to thank everybody that helped us out one more time - your help is more appreciated than you know. Thank you!

Happy Halloween!!!

Once a month we get together with my siblings and their families for our monthly sibling dinner. It was at our house this month. Can you guess the theme? We got a shot of all the kids with their Halloween outfits from Grandma Kathy. Thanks, Grandma!!!
Happy Halloween!!!

It's the Great Pumpkin!!!

Michelle & I took Quin to Afton Apple Orchard in Hastings Saturday afternoon. We plopped him down in the middle of one of their many pumpkin patches. Quin couldn't have cared less, he just wanted to eat his sweater. Still, the pics are cute. Enjoy!

Chillin' in the backyard

The Shed

We've spent the majority of the last 2 weekends finishing our last big task of the year; putting together our new shed in the backyard. So, here's a few pics of how we did. It's almost finished so stay tuned for updates.

Thank you very much to the following: Brother Jason, Brother Kyle, Uncle Steve, Dad Kenny, Dad Bruce and Uncle Mike for all your help. This would have taken 50-times longer than it has if we had not had your help.

Could be a super genius

He's only 3-months-old and already holding the bottle on his own. My boy's a smart one.
