Hangin' with the Hosch's

In what's become an annual tradition, we ventured to Fergus to hang out with Steve & the Girls the weekend before Halloween. We had a great time hanging out with them. Michelle, Katie & Amy carved Hosch pumpkins (Uncle Steve even helped out!). I also managed to scare Amy in the middle of the night after watching the movie version of Stephen King's "It." Score!
We also ventured over to see Jenny Mathiesen and wish her a happy birthday. Here's the gals & Quin with Jenny.
As you can see, Jenny was feeling a bit under the weather. Thankfully it wasn't H1N1.
Actually, this has also become a tradition for Michelle, Katie & Amy. The last two years, the Mathiesen's have been in the TC while we've been in the FF. So Michelle, Katie & Amy venture to their house and decorate for Jenny's birthday. This year, working with Tim and his parents, we gained access inside the house for the girls to decorate. Glad you enjoyed it, Jenny!
Finally, here's some random pictures that Katie took of Quin (great eye, Katie!).

Catching Up

We needed to do some photo catch-up, so here's a recap of what's been going on in K-Ville.
We had our first snowfall a couple weeks ago, and even though it wasn't much snow, Michelle & I took the opportunity to let Quin play in the snow for the first time.
He loved it until he fell down and got snow inside his mittens, then it was time to go in.

Mommy with her little-boy (look at those smiles!)
I shouldn't have put him on my shoulders because now when I come home from work that's the first thing he wants to do. First it's hugs for Daddy, kiss for Daddy and then "uppie Daddy."
You've got to look really close just above Quin's right eye; if you do, you can see his very first shiner. He did a face plant on the corner of my Mom & Dad's basement table.
After having a very rough night the night before, this is how I found Quin last night. Kind of reminds me of Grandpa Kenny.

Proof!

When I posted our camping pictures, I didn't have the memory card that had this picture on it. So I give you proof that my big-sister, Kim, did indeed camp . . . outdoors . . . in a tent. I've never been prouder of her - haha!
