Happy Mother's Day

Thanks for being the best Mommy around. Love, Quin

Play Time

Quin tried to take a ride on his toy tractor. Didn't work very well.
There are three Bob's at our house: Bob (Bob the Builder), Bob-Bob (Handy Manny) and SpongeBob.
Michelle said this picture was mandatory for this post.
When watching Spongebob on TV, SpongeBob must sit next to Quin.
Cookie Monster needs a drink from our resident fire fighter.

Cousins

Kathryn & Quin are good pals, but when it comes to picture taking, they are just like Kim & I; one is serious taking pictures and one likes to goof around. Can you tell which one is which?

Oldboots Baghead

Just a little background. My Grandma Gladys' stepbrother was a POW during WWII. After he was released from the Nazi Prison Camp he purchased a pair of German cobbler shoes. The craftsmanship is incredible! Grandma gave them to me after Quin was born. We never thought he'd wear them, but he likes to wear them, mostly because they make him slide on the floor. Well, Grandma & my Mom were over last Saturday and I wanted to show Grandma Quin wearing the shoes. Well, he ended up putting on a show for all us. Check out the pictures and the video at the end; the video is hilarious!

Random Mass Update

Reading with Daddy before nigh-nigh.
We got a free swing-set from G&G I's neighbors.
Even though he just saw it with his eyes, Quin had to try the binoculars to see it. Not seeing it!

Enjoying the new swings.
This one is funny just for the look on his face!
Enjoying Bob the Builder with Mommy before bedtime.
Helping Daddy cut down the shrub.
What would the Knights of Ni say?
Too cute not to post.

The chainsaw died, but the shrub was still coming down.
Having fun with Jonathan.

Wall Update

It's getting better all the time. All that waits is the molding.

Shoe Fetish

Our little boy has an addiction to shoes. Aunt Kim is very proud of him, but his taste is truly varied.
Great-Grandma Lois' wooden clogs allow him to keep his own shoes on while wearing them.
Mommy's flip-flops are comfy but too big for his feet; but that doesn't stop him.
These wool, cobbler made boots were brought home from World War II Germany by Great-Grandma Gladys' brother. They're too small and he has a hard time not slipping because of the leather sols, but that won't stop him either.
