Guy's Weekend

Michelle went quilting with her good friend, Jenny, over the weekend so Quin & I got to hang out together and have a guy's weekend.
We had Grandma & Grandpa K come over Friday night for grilled salmon (mmmmm). Q, G & G all watched "The Adventures of Elmo In Grouchland" while keeping warm under the Batman quilt Grandma made Quin.
Saturday we went to the zoo with my best friend, Dan, and his gal-pal, Michelle. First stop; the komodo dragon.
Not only are these things huge, they stink really bad.
Watching the zoo intern feed the fish. Quin wanted to go in the "tubby" too.
I don't remember what we were looking at, but Michelle was manning the camera, maybe she remembers - haha!
Getting a better view courtesy of Daddy.
A look into the future?
This one is kind of blurry, but Michelle took a neat picture of Quin in mid-stride. Neat shot!
Every time we found one of these animal sound stations Quin had to try each one. This one was the frogs which he loved.
Checking out the wolves.
Bald Eagles are soooooo cool.
Looks like a statue, but it wasn't. Another nice shot.
While on the Grizzly Coast, we stopped at this dinosaur bone play area. This was possibly Quin's highlight of the day.

"Hi!"
When we saw the grizzlies, they were about 100 yards away, but Quin still wanted nothing to do with them. "Bye-bye, Daddy, bye-bye."
Dan, Michelle & Quin checking out this leopard that just kept pacing back and forth. Maybe it was hungry for child.
Another sign of the future? D, M & Q walking the trail.
After a long day, it was time for bed and I let Quin pick out his own jammies.
He chose this pair of jogging pants and an old t-shirt of mine at that age that is much too small. Oh well, he was content and that's all that mattered at that point.

We had a blast!!!
