We celebrated Quin's 3rd Birthday this year and had a blast. It's the first year that he realized "hey, this is all about me!" We started a few days early with his big party at the house. He and his friends could not have cared less that it was raining out.
My Aunt Cheri would have been proud of Michelle for decorating this cake for Quin.
We had a superhero theme, hence the Batman and Superman cakes.
After a long day of partying, Quin decided to clean up with a bath and shave (zoom in on this one and you can see him shaving in the mirror - very cute!).
We celebrated again on his birthday with just the four of us.
Then later, we celebrated duel birthdays with Quin and his good buddy, Tobias (there's 2 days difference in their birthdays) and his Mom & Dad. 
Michelle kept scoring on him; not fair, Mom!

That cake rocks! My husband's only sadness with only daughters is the whole boy superhero enthusiasm! Maybe my girls will still make him proud...
